How do I connect my LifX bulb to SleepSpace?

First, be sure that your LifX bulb has been added to your Home app on your phone. Once you add that device to your Home app, navigate to ‘more’ on the bottom right of your SleepSpace app. Select ‘smart light’ where you should see your Homekit devices. If you do not, you can also click ‘+’ in the upper right hand corner and add the device.

I'm not sure if I'm doing the right steps. How do I see the instructions I should be following?

Each night, you will receive a notification guiding you on which steps to take. You can also see these steps if you hit the bell icon in the upper right hand corner of the ‘sleep’ screen. For more support, reach out to nicole@sleepspace.com or check out this video Dr. Dan made.

Am I able to edit my sleep journey?

As part of the study, you will not be able to edit your sleep journey. After completing the study, you will be able to test out SleepSpace for 30 days free and get the full experience.

Can I set an alarm?

Since you cannot set an alarm in SleepSpace during the study, we recommend using the alarm app in your phone to set your alarms. Don’t forget to end your sleep journey in the morning!

I cannot connect my lights to the Google Assistant - what do I do?

To connect your lights to Google Assistant, be sure you have the Google Home app downloaded on your phone and your LifX bulb is connected there. Follow these step-by-step instructions.

Will I get the Google Nest and LIFX if I complete 5 days of SleepSpace every week?

No. In order to progress to the next week, you need to fill in 6 days of data per week. We’d prefer 7 but understand this is challenging. We realize this is a high bar, but without reliable data, we might not be able to make meaningful conclusions and therefore help improve sleep for everyone.
